An immigrant, Sujit Choudhry has his origins from New Delhi, India. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto. According to,  he also went to study law at the Harvard and Oxford universities. After clearing his graduate studies, Sujit went to work with the administration of the University of California, Berkley. Sujit is an expert when it comes to research of democratic society practices and constitutional law. He has served as an advisor in many constitutional meetings in Tunisia, Egypt, Sri Lanka and Jordan among other nations.
